Among those shown are Charles Sumner, General John Sherman, William P. Fessenden, General Winfield Scott Hancock, Horace Greeley, General Benjamin F. Butler, Gideon Welles, William H. Seward, Salmon P. Chase, and Edwin M. Stanton.
