Summary: Print shows an interior view of the ballroom at the White House during a reception for the second inauguration of Abraham Lincoln; shows President Lincoln bowing slightly to greet Mrs. Grant with General U.S. Grant slightly behind her; on Lincoln's right is Vice President Andrew Johnson and on this left is Mrs. Lincoln. Among those shown are Charles Sumner, General John Sherman, William P. Fessenden, General Winfield Scott Hancock, Horace Greeley, General Benjamin F. Butler, Gideon Welles, William H. Seward, Salmon P. Chase, and Edwin M. Stanton.
