Notes: Stereoview shows a three story Greek Revival style building that was the home of Dr. Joseph Johnson at 411 Craven Street, Beaufort, South Carolina. "The Castle," as it was later called, was used as a hospital for contraband slaves. A group of people stand on the lower level portico.
