Notes: Exhibited: "Distance Avails Not: Walt Whitman at 200", Literary and Historical Manuscripts, at The Morgan Library & Museum, 225 Madison Avenue, New York, NY, June 14, 2019 - September 15, 2019.|Copy negative LC-USZ62-77004 was labeled as showing a photo in the Manuscript Division. But the copy negative pre-dates the transfer of the Feinberg-Whitman photos to P&P, and the portrait seems to match, although it was made before conservation treatment of the original print.
